Waynesboro's newly elected City Council members will be seated July 1, and veteran councilman Tim Williams is in the running for mayor.
In his reelection that took place earlier this month, Councilman Williams received the largest vote total ever in the city. That may indicate many in the city would be happy with Tim Williams as Mayor of Waynesboro.
