Friday morning was a chilly day with misty rain and fog. The departure ceremony, which had been planned for the football stadium located behind the Armory, was moved indoors to the Armory gymnasium ... and it was packed!
Family, friends, and members of the community overflowed into the hallway and out the front door and down the steps ... all wanting to be there to say "thank you" and wish them well.
A send-off for the historic 116th Stonewall Brigade ... more photos to come.
