George W. Bush ... no desire to 'crawl back into the swamp' of politics

"Eight years was awesome and I was famous and I was powerful. But I have no desire for fame and power anymore. ... I crawled out of the swamp and I'm not crawling back in."
--George W. Bush
43rd President of the United States
(as told to Hoover Institute's Peter Robinson on July 17, 2012)

Anyone who has been deeply involved in politics understands what former President George W. Bush meant with this statement that was just part of a one-hour discussion. The Hoover Institute interview offers more into the man, his administration, and the fact that he was a leader for the times we lived in, but he is enjoying life and family after the White House. Good interview. Thank you, W.
