Blue Ridge Parkway section closed at state line
If you're traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway into North Carolina here's a heads-up: A section of the parkway in North Carolina will be closed between Milepost 223 and Milepost 225 near Sparta. Bridge work and road maintenance will be performed at that time with a detour clearly marked for motorists.
