Autumn in the Shenandoah Valley: Buffalo Gap

Buffalo Gap, as seen from the school, got its name because years ago buffalo used to travel through the pass in the mountains.

Buffalo Gap High School, affectionately known locally as "Gap," is the only high school in Pastures District. Located on Rt. 42 at Buffalo Gap, it is a rural school that has students coming in from Craigsville, Deerfield, Churchville, and all points in between.
The school is situated in a beautiful rural location with mountains and pastures surrounding it.
