Autumn in the Shenandoah Valley ... Natural Chimneys

Natural Chimneys State Park is located in the northwest corner of Augusta County.

Caves at the base of the chimneys are open to exploring.

The longest-running jousting competition in the country is held at Natural Chimneys in June and August, as represented by the sign at the entrance.

From the entrance of Natural Chimneys, this is the view of the Alleghany Mountains across a corn field.
