"God" back on flag documents ... thanks to 17-year-old Eagle Scout

It all started with a 17-year-old grandson who wanted to honor his grandfather with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol ... and the accompanying certificate that was missing the word "God" which led to inquiries and the discovery that "God" was not considered appropriate to list on flag certificates.

According to the Associated Press:
A 17-year-old Eagle Scout wanting to honor his grandfather's ''love of God, country and family'' with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol has helped remove a ban on the word ''God'' in certificates that accompany these flags.
That policy has now been changed after pressure from Congress ... and "God" is no longer banned from certificates. A good thing was done by that 17-year-old, one of our conservative young people who are coming along behind us. Read the rest of the article here.
