Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie

I have been inundated today with phone calls and emails from folks talking about last night's passage of the Democrat government health care bill. No one has sounded defeated. Every single one has been fired up and determined to continue the battle.

Received this email from a patriotic friend:
This morning I am reminded of the song, "Bye Bye Miss American Pie," after Health Care Reform passed last night against the will of the American People. I wrote this little poem to express how I feel and how we are heading in the wrong direction in this country.

Please take time to watch the video of Rev. Al Sharpton saying on Fox last night that the people voted for Socialism when they elected Obama for he was very open about how he was going to transform America. And, unfortunately he is so right.
Bye Bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry.
The changes being made in America just makes me want to cry.

The Chevy Company is being run by our government.
And, now our health care will be run by the same.
We have been complacent and allowed this to happen.
We the American people have no one else to blame.

Bye Bye Miss American Pie.
Today we have allowed Liberty to Die!
H/T to Connie
